Seasonal News – Winter
Fertilization, irrigation and weed control programs are ongoing through the winter months. The huge job of pruning approximately 20,000 blueberry bushes is the major challenge for full-time staff. Young blueberries are planted as replants and new blocks are established. Blueberries are best grown with 700 chill hours for optimal fruit production!
